2006! Our 20th anniversary year!

Begun in 1986, we've just entered our 20th anniversary year.

Issue #114 was sent out to our members in December, and the deadline for contributions to #115 is February 4.

As mentioned earlier and in the sidebar, we're not looking to establish a web presence in an interactive way, but rather this is meant mainly to be another avenue for potential and former members to (re)discover us. We're really about print on paper, not cyberspace.

Way to go Legends! I'm a former Legends alumn and it was a great experience. Working under a deadline in a peer-reviewed journal is a great exercise in any creative discipline, whether it be art, writing, layout, etc.

Thanks!

I haven't mentioned this site to anyone in the APA, though I tossed a link to it shortly after creating it back in august. I wanted something handy, easy for me to reach and edit, which could be a bit of information for someone to stumble into.

Thanks, Thom, but don't expect to see much over on this one. It's primarily here as a "we exist!" information site for Legends APA, which is very much a print-only entity.

Thanks, Jeff!

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary.

Pardon the brief reply, but I'm into one of those Thursdays where I'm being looked to to produce two days worth of work in one day and everyone wants his project to be first.

Mike: yeah it's great for both of our APAs getting long in the tooth. :)

Work comes first, so no need to apologize.

This is RICHARD LIU the founder of LEGENDS APA!

Very glad to see it alive and kicking!

Richard! I'm glad to see you're still out there somewhere.

As you can see, we're not leaning on the online element, but we're still plugging along at the bimonthly pace in print. From the earliest era, Tim Tjarks is still in the mix, while Dan Eiler and Dwight Williams, who each started slightly before me (my first appearance was in issue #19) are also still in there, and Laney Loftin has just rejoined -- if any of those names ring a bell.

Issue 130 is coming up next month -- in fact, I was doing a little work on my zine when email notice of your comment popped up.

Thanks for checking in!
